Meeting March 8: Governance is Everybody’s Business: Management, Analytics, and IT

In the past, Governance consisted of a few compliance staffers in Legal, an audit “check box” applied after the “real” IT work was done.   Today, scary headlines as expanding privacy regulations, both internationally and domestically, force multimillion-dollar judgments on violators. The recent push for vast, uncontrolled data lakes has led to exploding data volumes and legal hazards.

Are you hearing the word “governance” more and more in your industry or job? Is your department tasked with integrating new policies, rules, processes, and auditing procedures? Are you going to be asked to step up to this challenge?

Your time is very important to us. We will discuss case studies, issues, and new tools to build your governance expertise—whether your focus is business, process, analytics, or data. Or all of them.

When:   Friday, March 8, 2019, 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Where: The Treehouse Business Incubator, 14681 Midway Rd, Addison, TX 75001    RSVP
